Traditional pest management is defined here as repeated chemical application, without emphasis on understanding the species the cause and implementing a true long term strategies. Traditional pest management is basically reacting instead of responding.
IPM is a holistic approach that’s leads to a goal of providing a pest free environment whenever possible. IPM works while everyone else has clocked out for the day. Monitoring around the clock for pennies is IPM. Correctly identifying a pest is IPM. What is overlooked by in-house staff doesn’t escape IPM. Proper monitoring and identification is crucial it empowers us to create and employ cost effective counter measures safe and effective. I manage several high-end whole sale and retail facilities in the city, not at any level can we afford a problem with pest not even the perception of having critter’s at any of our locations. I’ve been managing for 20 years and I have hired many of the name brand pest control companies and for the last 10 years Cesar of Freedom Pest Control is in my opinion the best there is. We like any other outlet working in the city has had our share of pest problems, however Cesar and his guys are really on top of their game. They see things coming, some time back we had beautiful flowers and plants out on the main floor and Cesar stressed how important it was to water the flowers in a timely manner and we fell short to the recommendations and 2 weeks later we had gnats. Freedom came in and immediately went to the plants and noticed it was over watered he pulled back some of the potted soil and there they were “gnats”. Our only criticism is that we have locations in Las Vegas and Los Angeles and Freedom serves only the New York area. Freedom I hope my review is well received by those seeking a company who genuinely values the client…. See you guys Monday…
